Our international Award-winning Winter Duvet Merino sleeping bag is designed for the coolest months of the year and as a guideline would be similar to wearing one sheet and one warm blanket.
We have developed a unique three layer system for our winter duvet merino sleeping bag to provide the ultimate sleeping experience for your baby.
Each of our merino sleep sacks has 3 layers:
Layer 1 - inner of soft & pure New Zealand merino against your babies skin to help absorb and release moisture and trap or circulate air as needed to regulate the temperature.
Layer 2 - a middle layer of plush bamboo/cotton duvet wadding is added for extra warmth and comfort.
Layer 3 - outer layer is a soft (organic) cotton fleece.
Our winter duvet merino sleeping bag is one of the warmest sleeping bags available whilst still being very soft and comfortable for your little one to sleep in.
With clothing alterations this merino sleeping bag can be safely used in room temperatures between 15 - 22 degrees C. Tog rating 2.5 - 3. Available in two sizes; NB - 2yrs and 2 - 4 yrs. Generous lengths to make sure your child doesn't outgrow his bag. NB-2 is 90cm and 2-4 is 110cm.
Pure silky soft NZ merino inner, a plush bamboo/cotton duvet wadding and soft (organic) cotton fleece outer. A handy seat belt slot for easy transport between cot, car seat and pram. Full zip to ensure easy nappy changes and dressing. Domes under arms to adjust size for small babies. Machine washable.
Eco-friendly & safe for your baby - all fabric dyes are certified Organic (by Global Organic Textile Standards) and are free from formaldehyde and solvents and other harsh chemicals. We love gorgeous prints but we do not like the use of unnecessary chemicals on our precious natural fabrics (associated with screen printing) therefore all our 'prints' are woven into the fabrics using only non-bleached & non-dyed cotton. Gorgeous prints - without the nasties.
